From 92 to 97 the CBR900RR revolutionized the big bore Sport bike category by being approx 100 pounds (45kg) lighter than it competitors and was renowned for its over all balance.It was actually similar weight to the 600 class.
For a race replica was a little more comfortable than most with a less extreme foot peg height and had a little more wind protection.So was more practical (in this category ) for day to day driving .....has storage under the rear seat section also with a larger 18 litre (3.9 imp gal) fuel tank and very good gas mileage had a longer fuel range.
